What are plugins?

Plugins are a useful tool for customizing and modifying assets in Fortnite. They allow you to read, write, and swap any asset in the game and can make the task of manual asset editing easier. Plugins are compiled, which means that the code is translated into plugin-runtime-readable code, making it difficult for others to reverse-engineer the original source code.

Are old plugin types still supported?

Unfortunately, JSON plugins are no longer supported as they had many flaws. However, there may be a JSON to Radon converter in the future.
